The body never lies.
I used to “passively” know that, as a reader.
But then, I fell in love with Yoga. And it‘s offering me the freedom to test its teachings in the laboratory of my own life.
It is showing me how to understand and respect my temple, and encouraging me to trust it.
The goal is to slowly transform the physical body from a series of compulsions of flesh, blood and hormones into a conscious process, a powerful instrument of perception.
It’s easy to forget that our physical form is just a fragment of the planet, and that everything that is happening to any part of the universe is also, in some way, happening to us.
That’s why spiritual people in India walk barefoot and do grounding postures to connect with the earth, so the body wont forget that is just a part of it. When we constantly remind it, it knows it’s place. When it forgets, it starts making crazy demands.
May we ground ourselves and give our divine bodies the opportunity to join its origins.
I woke up, I’m alive.
Therefore, it is both my will and my duty to give my body a chance be an active participant in this magical, magical event called life.
